Three Guidelines for a Healthy Children’s Ministry By Robin Khoury, What does a healthy children’s ministry look like? Is there a happy medium between dry lectures and installing a carousel in the church sanctuary? How many carnivals and puppet shows are enough?

By: Arnold Cafe, Wed Sep 19th, 2007
Contrary to popular belief, the holy month of Ramadhan is not only for Muslims but it is intended to all mankind as a whole. It is the lunar month, when God Almighty revealed His message and professes once again to all mankind His Oneness and Uniqueness as God. In oneness, He has reiterated to all of us that he has no associates.

Every human being have a father - except perhaps for Adam and Eve who doesn’t have a biological father. Despite this, Adam and Eve can call God to be their Father as God created them directly. Although all of us have a father, yes, we can also call God our heavenly Father!

By: David Nelmes, Wed Jun 13th, 2007
There are no secrets, but there are things we have hidden from ourselves. These hidden truths were never denied us by God. Quite the contrary, we denied ourselves access to the truth because we are terrorized to some level of what we believe the real truth is…so we make our own truths in place of real truths, thus we see and experience the world as we have chosen…but not as it really is.

By: Debra Lohrere, Wed Jun 13th, 2007
Jesus showed us that the Ten Commandments would never change. Mathew 5:18 “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled”.

Are the Ten Commandments Relevant today?
By: Debra Lohrere, Wed Jun 13th, 2007
There are some pastors today within the Christian Church who are preaching that the Ten Commandments are no longer valid. Is this what the Word of God teaches?

By: E. Raymond Rock, Thu Apr 12th, 2007
We go to school, graduate with honors perhaps, fall in love, raise a beautiful family, and our kids do great, better than we could have ever imagined. Even our grandchildren are now successful in their own little pursuits, and our children and grandchildren love us dearly. We did good.
By: Aidan Maconachy, Thu Apr 12th, 2007
One of the chief characteristics of fundamentalists of both the Christian and Islamic variety, is the determined effort to reduce the complexities of life to a simplistic set of beliefs. In order to do this successfully, the language they use has to be direct and above all, literal.

By: Arthur Levine, Thu Apr 12th, 2007
There are some things people learn from their parents and some things they learn in church, but learning about sex is usually accomplished via the self-study method. We just have to have faith that what we learn about sex is appropriate and in keeping with the teachings of God.

New proof using current scientific techniques, including DNA evidence conducted at a molecular genetics laboratories, as well as analysis by leading scholars, suggests a Jerusalem tomb 2,000-year-old could have been the resting place of the remains of Jesus of Nazareth & his family. The findings also say that Jesus and Mary Magdalene might have had a son named Judah. Statistical analysis plus the DNA findings about the artifacts excavated in 1980 open a fascinating chapter in Biblical archaeological history. A new Discovery channel documentary presents the evidence in “The Lost Tomb of Jesus,” which will show on the Discovery Channel March 4 2007. The documentary was produced by James Cameron and directed by Simcha Jacobovici.

Being in the Moment
By: Sharon Eiffel, Thu Apr 12th, 2007
Man has got into the habit of always wishing and attempting to live in the future, but we can only live in the moment. Yesterday has gone past and tomorrow is guaranteed to none of us; but today is here before us, so lets make the best of it. We can never live tomorrow, or yesterday but only today. Hence, it is important to celebrate each day which is a special gift from God to us, and make it special and unique. We should live each day as if it was the last day in our life and strive to accomplish all our heart’s desires. In the words of that beautiful hymn: “One day at a time Sweet Jesus”, we should ask God for the grace to live one day at a time - take each day as it comes and not worry about tomorrow or future problems.
